The Daily Challenge Explained
Why you should make the daily shape challenge a part of your morning routine.
If you’ve visited the site recently, you might have noticed the “Daily Challenge” section. Here is a breakdown of what it is and why it’s our most popular feature.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Every day at midnight (UTC), the system selects one specific shape to be the Daily Challenge. Everyone around the world who visits the site that day gets the exact same shape to draw.
Why Play Daily?
1. Build a Habit
Like Wordle or Sudoku, the Daily Challenge is designed to be a quick, 60-second exercise for your brain and hands. It’s a great way to wake up your fine motor skills with your morning coffee.
2. Fair Competition
Because everyone is drawing the same shape, it’s the perfect metric to compare with your friends. A 92% on a circle is very different from a 92% on a star. The Daily Challenge levels the playing field.
3. Discover New Shapes
Left to our own devices, most of us will just draw circles and squares forever. The Daily Challenge forces you to try shapes you’d normally ignore, like the trapezoid or the heptagon, expanding your spatial reasoning skills.
